Bourjois Intense Eyeshadows in 01 and 02 review

You will soon learn that I love a good sparkly/shimmer filled eye shadow and that is exactly what these two eye shadows are. SPARKLY. These are the Bourjois Intense eyeshadows in shades 1 and 2. Though I feel like I am lying, because they aren't really shades. There is very little pigmentation in the pink shade. They are just slightly coloured shimmers.

As you can see, they cause a lot of mess (apologies for the messing pots, I was going to clean them but I thought I would show you the used pot look! ;) )  I love using these for work. As I am a teacher I don'tlike to wear 'in your face' make up, like eyeliner or bright/dark shades on the eyes. So for me these are perfect, because they add a lovely shimmer across the eyelid but not enough to make it look like I am doing my self up for a night out.

( sorry my fingers are red, it is so cold in London at the moment! )

I can imagine that the dark shades would give you better pigmentation, you can see the other shades available here. At £6.99 a go I would say they are worth the money if you are looking for a pale eyeshadow with a lot of shimmer but could be quite an expensive payout if you are expecting a lot of colour. I have had these two pots for nearly a year now and given that I use them every week day, you can see I haven't used that much as you only need a think swipe on the brush. These will last a LONG time.

With the 3 for 2 on at Boots currently I would really recommend picking at least one up to try out. you can't go wrong with the magnetic lid and little mirror either!

What is you favourite eye shadow? Do you wear a particular colour for work?
